The gallery is the brainchild of lifelong painter, sculptor and multimedia artist Francisco Castro Lostalo, whose diverse work reflects his passion and creativity. He constantly experiments with different media and styles, discovers and develops new artistic techniques and challenges himself to expand his expertise.

For the past twenty years, Francisco has been passionate about sculpting in stone. He has created more than 30 unique and appealing 3D sculptures using as his raw material reclaimed panels of Carrara marble that originally covered the facade of Canada's tallest building, Toronto office tower First Canadian Place.

Visions Gallery is currently the exclusive agent for Francisco's art in Canada. Many of his paintings and sculptures can be found in private collections in Canada, the United States, Europe, Trinidad, Costa Rica and Argentina, and his monumental sculptures are installed in public parks in Costa Rica and Chile. In 2018, he was chosen to participate as Canada's representative at a worldwide sculpture symposium in Egypt, where his completed white marble sculpture now forms part of a permanent installation with the theme "Reviving Humanity".

Tony Magee is Francisco's partner in the gallery. They share responsibility for business planning and for curating the gallery's artworks. Tony has the lead responsibility for promotion, marketing and administration, while Francisco continues to produce art, teach his students, and restore paintings and sculptures for our clients.

They both enjoy welcoming visitors to the gallery, sharing stories about our art and artists, helping clients choose artwork for their homes and offices, and ensuring that they have a positive customer experience.
